Vision for the Future Weekend DVDs available at Morse Institute Library

Handouts from the Vision for the Future Weekend and a DVD of the Opening Session on October 27, 2006, featuring keynote speaker Anthony Flint are available at the Morse Institute Library reference desk.

Handouts distributed during the weekend contained a number of useful and informative reports.  The Briefing on Natick Today summarizes a small portion of the Phase I report looking at living and working in Natick today.  The handout also includes a summary of other planning efforts underway in Natick including a report by Natick CARES about the health and wealthfare of children in our community, and a listing of special planning charettes focusing on Natick Center.

The Opening Session on Friday night included a presentation by Joel Barrera of the Metropolitan Area Planning Council highlighting portions of the Phase I research.  The Opening Session featured a thought-provoking keynote speech by Anthony Flint of the Lincoln Institute on Land Policy about energy-efficient and environmentally friendly community development.

Both the DVDs and handouts are available for circulation through the Morse Institute Library.
